Valentine's Day is a party that the Catholic Church instituted to counteract the pagan festivities that took place in the Roman Empire. It is celebrated on February 14 as a commemoration of the good works done by Saint Valentine of Rome that are related to the universal concept of love and affection.

TAMBOR DEL LLANO is an organic farm where we have proposed to make our own extra virgin olive oil. For this we have planted eighty new olive trees that add to the ones we already had on the farm. More than a hundred olive trees that are distributed by drawing a landscape contrasted with the cork oaks.
Las variedades que ahora tenemos en Tambor del Llano son: Arbequina, Lechín y hojiblanca
It is the characteristic variety of Catalonia (Tarragona and Lleida) and Alto Aragón, although its cultivation has spread to practically the entire country. It takes its name from the Lleida town of Arbeca.
It gives a very fluid oil, sweet and in which almost no bitter or spicy flavors are perceived. Its olive oil has a fruity aroma of olive, apple, banana and almond.
Its cultivation extends mainly through the provinces of Malaga, Cordoba, Granada and Seville. Its name refers to the whitish color of the leaves. This variety has the particularity that it is used both for obtaining oil and for use as a table olive.
It is characterized by its flavor and aroma of freshly cut grass, artichoke and aromatic plants. Its entrance in the mouth is sweet, with a slight bitterness and a final itch very localized in the mouth.
This is one of the most widespread varieties in Andalusia, with a strong presence in the province of Seville, although it is also grown in Córdoba, Cádiz and Málaga. The extra virgin oils of this variety stand out for the balance between green, itchy and bitter tones. They are very fruity oils.

September arrives to announce the bellowing of the deer and mushrooms to the arcornocales forests of the Sierra de Grazalema. These two events are an important attraction to attract the attention of visitors to this area of Andalusia.
The deer bellow
The bellowing, is the period in which the male deer is in heat and emits a series of sounds to which the exciting antler fight to get a female joins, the males are hit with the horns trying to unbalance the opposite. When one of them succeeds, the defeated will withdraw immediately or restart the fight.
At the end of September with the first rains of autumn this fantastic spectacle begins, one of the most shocking that can be seen in the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park in Cádiz.
The bellowing begins with the bellows and continues for several days with the battle in which their antlers collide until exhausted. The sound envelops the heart of the park and its echoes are heard in an environment of several kilometers, especially at dawn and also when the afternoon falls.
From Tambor del llano we have the privilege of hearing the sounds of the bellow.
This natural phenomenon lasts about a month, usually begins in September - according to the weather and lasts well into the month of October or November.
