TAMBOR DEL LLANO - GRAZALEMA

Departing Tambor del Llano from the gate at Campobuches River (see the blue treck inside the hotel: TBLL int-2), turn right following the river upstream (1). Once you leave behind Tambor’s fence (2) you’ll cross a dirt road and arrive at a resting area dominated by a huge and old cork-oak tree (3). Pass the tree and turn right towards the Northwest along the Cañada de las 10 Pilas, which takes you to the Los Alamillos restaurant.

Then cross the A-372 road to start the hike downhill through a meadow to the right of a small stream. This is the Puerto de Los Alamillos, which offers a panoramic view of the Guadalete river valley. After leaving a hen house to the left, you’ll need to open two small gates (remember always to close behind you!).

At the bottom of the hill there is a dirt road left to the Guadalete river. You’ll see Grazalema to your left. Go in that direction on the dirt road, called Cañada Real de Olvera (4). It’ll take you to the A-372, which you need to cross to find a Medieval stone path (5) which goes uphill straight to the village of Grazalema. Enjoy the view from Grazalema’s Mirador!
