The plains of Tambor

This trail (marked in green) takes us to the pastures in the lower part of Tambor, in the Campobuches valley. The landscape changes enormously each season. Sometimes it feels like an African savanna, others it floods and is traversed by streams (the most stable of them is the Tambor’s stream). There are beautiful pear-trees, old holm-oak trees, chestnuts trees, pine forests. And often the horses and sheep!
